The Lincoln Memorial at 100 - Teacher Workshop Series, Session 6: The Lincoln Memorial Activated

Join National Mall and Memorial Parks rangers and their friends for a teacher professional development series in honor of the completion of the Lincoln Memorial 100 years ago in 1922. In the final session of the Lincoln Memorial at 100 Teacher Workshop Series, we will look at events that have taken place at the Memorial. We began last fall with the 1922 Dedication, which examined what the builders and leaders in 1922 thought the Memorial meant. Over the years, events onsite have introduced different themes. We will explore some of the many activities here and how the meaning of the Memorial has evolved over time. This is your last chance to consider ways you and your students can participate in the Lincoln Memorial anniversary this May!
