Living the dream, following the legacy
Tuesday, January 23, 2024
Following Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, bring your students to this virtual classroom event with National Park Service rangers to reflect on the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.. Visit iconic Civil Rights locations on the National Mall, like the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial and the Lincoln Memorial, where Dr. King delivered his "I Have a Dream Speech" at the 1963 March for Jobs and Freedom. Come prepared to explore your class's own dreams for the future and how the "I Have a Dream" speech is inspiring students today.
This program is designed for grades 1 - 5, but all are welcome to join.
