Women’s Leadership Committee Seasonal Series Featuring author Daniel Stone

  • Online Zoom Event (map)

The Women's Leadership Committee will kick off the January Seasonal Series hearing from best-selling author Daniel Stone. Daniel will be sharing about the adventures of American food spy David Fairchild, who introduced hundreds of crops, including avocados, mangoes, and dates, to a hungry country and helped advocate for the introduction of the cherry trees on the National Mall.

Join us for this special presentation about the man who changed what Americans eat and shaped Washington’s springtime landscape for generations. Daniel's book about Mr. Fairchild, the Food Explorer is available for purchase here.
