Dr. Lengel will discuss Revolutionary War history, General Washington as a military leader, and Medal of Honor standards and the National Medal of Honor Museum.

Meryl Gordon, journalist and New York Times bestselling author, will be sharing from her book, Bunny Mellon: The Life of an American Style Legend. An accomplished gardener, Bunny Mellon is largely credited with assisting First Lady Jackie Kennedy with the redesign of the White House Rose Garden in 1961.
