The Trust for the National Mall, an official nonprofit partner of the National Park Service, hosts a variety of events each year including our premier event, AMERICA’S BALL for THE MALL, which brings together our community of partners and champions in celebration of the National Mall and in honor of the spirit and ideals behind this iconic American space.

AMERICA’S BALL for THE MALL 2026 welcomed a glittering crowd of 700+ partners and champions to celebrate and support our mission on America’s Front Yard in honor of the U.S. Semiquincentennial - America’s 250th anniversary in 2026. On May 7, 2026, AMERICA’S BALL for THE MALL 2026 will honor all 50 states and territories, feature the Trust’s 2026 History, Heroes & Hope Awards and welcome special guests to celebrate the National Mall’s history and purpose, center stage for the historic American milestone on July 4, 2026.

Make your plans to join us for a monumental evening again in 2027 against the backdrop of the soaring Washington Monument and the U.S. Capitol, as we come together on the National Mall to honor our nation’s history and its founding. RELEASE: Honoring 110th Anniversary of National Park Service ‘Founders Day’, TD Bank U.S. Commits $1 Million to Lockkeeper’s House

Trust for the National Mall announced today, on the 110th anniversary of the founding of the National Park Service, that it has received a $1 Million donation from TD Bank U.S. (TD). The gift will support the Trust’s Our Monumental Moment: The Campaign for the National Mall honoring America’s 250th and will fund future preservation and educational programming at the historic Lockkeeper’s House on the Mall.

Celebrating America's 250th at the Horse Stables and Education Center

The Trust for the National Mall and its partners at the National Park Service and the U.S. Park Police hosted an Open House celebrating the U.S. Park Police Horse Stables and Education Center, the first project that the Trust delivered to prepare the National Mall for America's 250th anniversary.

Mall Hands on Deck: The Home Depot Foundation Makes a Difference for America's 250th

This June, the Trust for the National Mall and the National Park Service kicked off a new “Mall Hands on Deck” project with volunteers from donated supplies from The Home Depot Foundation and volunteers from Team Depot carrying out major repairs to four sites on the National Mall.
