Fall 2024 White House Gardens Tour
WELCOMING AND GUIDING GUESTS AT THE Fall white house gardens tour
The Trust is proud to partner with the National Park Service and the White House to protect the White House gardens and grounds for generations to come.
Did you know?! The Trust for the National Mall helps raise funds and lead projects to help restore, preserve and elevate the White House Gardens and Grounds — including the White House Rose Garden, the South Lawn fountain and gardens, the Ellipse and Lafayette Park.
The Trust was honored to have members of our Volunteer-in-Parks team with the National Park Service on hand to help welcome, guide and educate visitors during tours this fall. Thank you to our amazing volunteer team at the White House this weekend helping NPS Rangers welcome and guide thousands of visitors. The spring and fall White House Gardens Tour is an iconic Washington, D.C. event, which welcomes over 30,000 visitors to experience the gardens on the South Lawn.
For this Fall's Gardens Tour, on October 12 - 13, the Trust for the National Mall helped to recruit, train, and coordinate over 70 volunteers to serve on the South Lawn. This corps of volunteers was expertly trained on the history and uses of the White House Grounds to help educate the public and enrich their visits to this historic landscape.
