Visitors to the National Mall Build American Flag with LEGO® Bricks
The Trust for the National Mall partnered with LEGO Systems, Inc. for an unforgettable event to celebrate the Fourth of July holiday on the National Mall. Visitors from around the world descended on the Lincoln Memorial plaza to design more than 2,800 plates with red, white, and blue LEGO®bricks, creating a one-of-a-kind mural of the American flag. The event served to educate people about the importance of this park and also featured large scale LEGO replicas of the iconic monument and memorials on the National Mall.
