Donor Appreciate Week featured off a “Blossoms and Breakfast” event, which offered a vibrant morning of connection and celebration with our donors and volunteers and honored the beauty of the iconic cherry trees in all four seasons on the National Mall. We were honored to welcome President General Ginnie Storage of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution, who spotlighted about DAR’s monumental gift to the Cherry Tree Endowment.in honor of America’s 250th anniversary. The DAR recently announced a $2 million gift to endow the cherry trees and their celebrated blossoms for generations to come.

“Your generosity drives incredible impact. Because of donors like you, every monument and memorial on the National Mall was built or restored in part by private donations. You also help us build educational and volunteer programming that brings history and the National Mall to life.” -Catherine Townsend
