The Trust for the National Mall and the National Capital Planning Commission were honored with the “Best Exhibition Award” in recognition of Beyond Granite: Pulling Together by The Guild of Professional Tour Guides of Washington, D.C.”

Beyond Granite: Pulling Together debuted summer 2023 with six, dynamic art installations on the National Mall that helped bring new stories and new perspectives to the nation’s most iconic commemorative space. The Guild of Professional Tour Guides of Washington, D.C.’s “Best Exhibition Award” recognized the inaugural exhibition for its “accessibility, creativity, and willingness to meet people where they were and expand their understanding of our world, history, identity, and country in a unique way.” Projec
