Julie Moore
Vice President of Communications
Julie Moore serves as Vice President of Communications with the Trust for the National Mall and has spent 15 years as a communicator and storyteller with experience in non-profit, government, and corporate communications. Julie is charged with promoting the Trust’s efforts and achievements to preserve and protect the National Mall. She oversees communications and marketing and enjoys creating compelling messaging, stories, and events to support a vibrant and sustainable future where all voices can be heard on America’s Front Yard.
Julie has a deep appreciation for land preservation, national parks, and landscape architecture and holds a landscape design certification from George Washington University.
She served most recently as communications strategist and advisor to The Scholarship Fund of Alexandria, a non-profit that awards college scholarships to students with financial need. She served as deputy press secretary for former Governor Christine Todd Whitman (R-NJ) and served in corporate communications at MCI WorldCom (now Verizon). She also holds a bachelor's in political science from Boston University.
