Jasmine Musgrave

Manager, Marketing and Communications

Jasmine Musgrave serves as Manager of Marketing and Communications at the Trust, joining the team at a very pivotal time, as they strive to restore and preserve the history of the National Mall, and prepare to celebrate the 250th anniversary of American democracy in 2026.

Prior to joining the trust, Jasmine spent the last three years consulting with small businesses and non-profit organizations on business development, branding, marketing, and communications, and is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others by writing and telling their stories. Jasmine spent a year at AfricanAncestry.com specializing in e-commerce and marketing, and nearly ten years at Easterseals specializing in communications, marketing, and development, and managing donor relations marketing, focusing primarily on regional website administration; re-branding projects; production of ongoing internal and external newsletters; development of online and print material for regional and national campaigns; social media management; special events; donor relations and annual giving management; and fostering client relationships to produce several success stories and testimonials, many of which led to very substantial gifts to help sustain Easterseals programs.

In addition to her previous work experience, Jasmine also spent eight years as a researcher/writer at TSymmetry, Inc., researching and writing monthly reports on the progress and struggles of the implementation of healthcare information technology (HIT). She also spent several months implementing an internal “how-to” guide on proper grammar and punctuation use.

Jasmine is completing a Masters of Arts (2024) in Strategic Communications, Advocacy & Social Impact from American University in Washington, D.C., and holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language & Literature, as well as a Minor in French Language, from the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. She has a Childhood Development Associate (CDA) in Early Childhood Education and is a member of the Catholic University of America Alumni Association Board of Directors. She was a founding member of the DC Bilingual Equity and Diversity Council and is the President of the DC Bilingual Public Charter School Parent Teacher Association (DCBPTA) in Washington, D.C., where she also serves as a member of the Board of Directors. Jasmine also serves on the Saint Anselm’s Abbey School Parent Association (SAASPA) in Washington, D.C.

Jasmine loves spending time with her husband and children, reading, playing the piano, doing arts and crafts, graphic design, writing and blogging, volunteering as a vocalist in the music ministry at her local church, and researching and sharing stories about Black history and Washington, D.C. history.
