Chief Operating Officer
Cindy Willmann serves as the Chief Operating Officer for the Trust for the National Mall. She takes the lead on all internal operations from HR and finance to organizational planning and board engagement. She has spent the last 10 years in nonprofit operations and leadership and is passionate about turning strategy into reality and finding ways for technology to increase efficiency in business. She is excited about bringing her passion to the operations side of the Trust for the National Mall in support of America’s Front Yard.
Prior to joining the Trust, Cindy served as Vice President, Operations & Special Initiatives at Global Impact where she oversaw the organization’s technology team, Board engagement and special initiatives. Cindy has also worked for Deltek, a software company based in the DC metro area, in a variety of capacities including consulting, project management, software development and process improvement.
Cindy is a former certified Project Management Professional and received an executive MBA from Virginia Tech. She holds an undergraduate degree in management from Bentley University and serves on the board of Restoration Immigration Legal Aid (RILA) based in Arlington, VA.
