National Mall In the News: Sneak Peek of the NEW U.S. Park Police Horse Stables and Education Center
The Trust for the National Mall completed construction on the NEW state-of-the-art and sustainable U.S.P.P. Horse Stables and brand-new Education Center at the end of 2022. This milestone project includes a horse stables for the officers and horses of the Mounted Unit and, importantly, it creates a brand-new Education Center that will welcome the public for the first time to learn about the horses and their history on the National Mall. The horses will move in during spring 2023 and the Education Center will open to welcome the public in June 2023.
