Celebrating Constitution Day with the Launch of the National Mall Gateway

the Launch of the National Mall Gateway IN HONOR OF THE U.S. CONSTITUTION

As America’s 250th anniversary in 2026 quickly approaches, the Trust for the National Mall launched its new digital learning platform, the National Mall Gateway, bringing this treasured American space and its monuments and memorials to life like never before — for America’s 250th and generations to come.

Catherine Townsend, President and CEO of the Trust for the National Mall joined the Civics, Citizenship, and the Constitution Summit, co-hosted by More Perfect and iCivics at American University to announce the official launch of the National Mall Gateway. This one-of-a-kind digital and onsite learning platform is designed to connect students, educators, and the public to the history and the guiding principles represented by the National Mall, its landmarks, and the historic events that have shaped the United States.

The National Mall Gateway transforms America's most iconic public space into its greatest living history and civics classroom. Developed by the Trust for the National Mall in partnership with the National Park Service and with support from visionary funders, led by HP, Inc., the National Mall Gateway is an enduring legacy project inspired by America’s historic 250th anniversary in 2026.
