Trust for the National Mall Releases 2024 Impact Report
Trust SHARES Impact in 2024 ON THE NATIONAL MALL
OUR IMPACT IN 2024 | The Trust for the National Mall is honored to share a look back at our impact in 2024, thanks to our partners, donors and champions. The Trust raises private funds and partners with the National Park Service to restore, preserve and enrich the National Mall for generations to come.
The 2024 Impact Report shares exciting updates on our work with the National Park Service across our three program areas, Restoration and Sustainability, Educational Enrichment and Volunteerism and Community Engagement.
The Trust worked to care for and bring to life marquee visitor destinations across the National Mall, many of which were built or restored through the generosity of our donors and supporters — sites including the Lockkeeper’s House and the U.S. Park Police Horse Stables and Education Center continue to inspire visitors on America’s Front Yard
We designed and installed new educational exhibits at the Wells Fargo Education Center at the U.S. Park Police Horse Stables, expanded our award-winning Volunteers-in-Parks programming to help welcome and educate visitors across the National Mall and grew our partnership and impact with the National Park Service to preserve and elevate the White House gardens and grounds, the Ellipse and Lafayette Park.
THE ROAD TO AMERICA'S 250th ON THE NATIONAL MALL
In 2025, we began the countdown to the Semiquincentennial – the 250th anniversary of American independence in 2026. We are building marquee projects with the National Park Service inspired by this historic milestone on the National Mall – including the planned transformation of Constitution Gardens and the Memorial to the 56 Signers of the Declaration of Independence and the National Mall Gateway, a new civic learning platform to connect visitors to the history of our nation's founding.
We are grateful for the support of our champions and partners who help make our mission and impact possible on the road to 2026 and beyond.
