City Girls DC on the national mall

Thank you for sharing our passion for the National Mall! The Trust for the National Mall celebrates City Girls DC and appreciates how this dynamic group brings new energy and the best vibes to America’s Front Yard. Walkers help bring the National Mall to life, from dawn till dusk and beyond.

By making a gift to the Trust for the National Mall, you join our mission to restore, preserve and enrich this national treasure for generations to come.

The Trust for the National Mall has been restoring sites on the Mall since 2007 — including the repair of the Washington Monument after the 2011 earthquake, restoring the iconic grass lawns and building the new US Park Police Horse Stables and Education Center. Learn more here.

  1. Volunteer! Find opportunities to share our nation's historic landmarks and welcome visitors from around the world on the National Mall. The Trust is looking for volunteers to commit to regular bi-weekly shifts for 6 months, or for volunteers to support special events like the Cherry Blossom Festival and White House Garden Tours. The Trust for the National Mall has exciting plans underway for the upcoming Semiquincentennial, the 250th anniversary of American independence coming in 2026. This includes rebuilding Sylvan Theater, the space at the base of the Washington Monument, as a vibrant space for community gathering and performances, and establishing a new virtual civic learning experience to connect educators and visitors to history and the National Mall — both onsite and all over the world. Preview our plans on our new website, nationalmall250.org.

Thank you to City Girls DC for visiting the Trust for the National Mall at last year’s National Mall of Pickleball! We hope you are making your plans to join us this year at National Mall of Pickleball 2025. Contact us at information@nationalmall.org.
