Washington Business Journal awarded Trust for the National Mall founder and Chair Emeritus the 2024 Real Estate Icon Award for his incredible impact on the greater Washington region’s real estate and the National Mall.

Throughout his time spent shaping the city’s real estate development, Chip’s dedication to civic duty has been a constant. Back in 2003, Chip recognized a critical need for a private-public partnership that would help the National Park Service maintain a vibrant National Mall for generations. in 2007, he founded the Trust for the National Mall.
